What is Asbestos?

Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral made up of fibres which are soft , flexible and heat resistant.

The three most commonly used types of asbestos are Chrysoltile (White Asbestos) , Amosite (Brown Asbestos) and Crocidolite (Blue Asbestos).

If your house was built prior to 2000 then it may contain asbestos.

Health hazardous from asbestos include Lung disease such as plaques , thickening and cancer.

What certification is received?

After your asbestos has been removed by a reputable and trained business , you will receive a Hazardous Waste Consignment Note. The HWCN or Certificate , proves where the asbestos came from , who transported this and where it was disposed of. With this document you can prove to any authority that you have chosen a reputable company to dispose of asbestos waste.

With every job GLA Services complete , the customer received the HWCN/Certificate the same day.
